The learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner has placed on record a letter dated 3rd February 2018 addressed to the Architect of the petitioner which is taken on record and marked as "L1" for identification. The said letter records that the impugned communication dated 4th March 2017 has been withdrawn. The learned counsel appearing for the Municipal Corporation states that the letter/communication dated 4th March 2017 has been withdrawn without prejudice to the right of the Municipal Commissioner to initiate appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. In view of the withdrawal of the said letter, nothing survives in the petition and hence disposed of.
