This is an application under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. filed by the aforesaid Applicant apprehending his arrest in Crime No.721 of 2022 dated 30th July, 2022, registered at Barasat Cyber Crime PS, West Bengal.

When the learned Counsel was questioned as to how the prearrest bail application in respect of offence registered at West Bengal has been filed before this Court, learned Counsel for the Applicant states that the Applicant is seeking transit bail. The Application no where mentioned that the Applicant is apprehending arrest at the hands of police officials of West Bengal or that he is PRASANNA P SALGAONKAR seeking transit bail till such time that he files a regular bail PRASANNA P SALGAONKAR Date: 2023.04.15 19:47:45 +0530 pps

6 aba 969-23.doc application before the appropriate Court at West Bengal. Such practise of filing regular bail applications and thereafter contending that he is seeking transit bail needs to be deprecated. Application stands dismissed.
