This is an application for extension of time to furnish surety vide order dated 02.03.2022. The sentence of imprisonment was suspended and the applicant was directed to be released on bail, however for a period of ten weeks, the applicant was permitted to furnish cash bail in lieu of surety.

Learned Advocate for the applicant submitted that, there has been delay in preferring the application for extension of time to furnish surety on account of several reasons which are stipulated in this application.

Considering the explanation provided for delay in preferring this application and in the interest of justice, time to furnish surety is extended by a period of six weeks from today. 4.

The facility of cash bail granted by this Court is extended by a period of six weeks from today.
