Without going to the allegations made against respondent no. 2, what can be seen is that the case is pending in the court of Metropolitan Magistrate since last more than twelve years. In the circumstances, prayer is just and proper and needs to be granted.

In the result, Prayer clause (b) is granted. Hearing of case No.964/P/2003 is expedited. The learned Magistrate is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of authenticated copy of order of this court. Writ petition stands disposed of. (JUDGE)
