The order impugned is dated 11th August, 2020 passed by the District Deputy Registrar in exercise of powers under Section 77A(1)(b) of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act" for the sake of brevity). By way of impugned order, as the tenure of existing elected committee has come to an end, the administrator came to be appointed and was directed to take steps for holding elections. 2.

In response to the Court's query, on instructions counsel for the petitioner, Mr. P. D. Dalvi informs that the election of the society can be directed to be completed within stipulated period in accordance with law. He would invite attention of this Court to the fact that before holding BGP.

The administrator is directed to expeditiously proceed with the election of the respondent society, in any case to be completed within a period of 90 days from the date of communication of this order by the petitioner to the said society.
