By an Order dated 10.04.2017, the applicant was granted interim relief.

By a subsequent Order dated 24.04.2017, the present matter which is basically arising out of matrimonial dispute was referred for mediation.

The learned Counsel appearing for the first informant submitted that, the process of mediation has failed. By an Order dated 15.12.2017 Aarti Palkar 1/2

13.ABA.610.17.doc the applicant (husband) was directed to deposit an amount of Rs.3,43,500/- in the Registry of this Court, which is equivalent to the value of the Stridhan, alleged to have been retained by the applicant, as has been mentioned in the first information report. 4.

The record indicates that, the applicant has deposited the said amount in the Registry of this Court.

After perusing the record and taking into consideration the peculiar facts of the present case, this Court is of the view that, the custodial interrogation of the applicant for further investigation of the present crime is not necessary.

In view of the above, the interim relief granted by an Order dated 10.04.2017 is hereby confirmed.
