This is an Application by the original Claimants (Respondents Nos.1 to 4 in the First Appeal). The amount awarded is about Rs.17,34,000/-. The actual amount deposited will be slightly higher. The deceased was 23 years old and was said to have been earning around Rs.11,500/- per month. The ground of challenge in the Appeal is principally that of contributory negligence. 2.

In consequence, I will permit the Applicants to withdraw 50% of the amount deposited with proportionate interest. The MACT, 28th June 2017
