According to the learned counsel for the Petitioner, the Petitioner's claim for issuance of Caste Validity Certificate is pending since 12.09.2012. In support of his submissions, he has placed on record Exh."A", which is the application submitted to the Caste Scrutiny Committee.

According to the Petitioner, she has already submitted reply to the Vigilance Cell Report on 02.12.2015, which is at Exh."C". The grievance of the Petitioner is that even after about 6 years from the date of application, the decision has not been taken by Respondent No.2 Committee on her application for grant Aarti Palkar 1/2

In view of the aforesaid without commenting upon the merits of the matter, we dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No.2 to consider the Petitioner's application and take appropriate decision for grant of Caste Validity Certificate in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of appearance of the Petitioner before Respondent No.2 - Caste Scrutiny Committee.

The Petitioner to appear before Respondent No.2 - the Caste Scrutiny Committee on 21.06.2018 at 11.00 a.m. 5.

With the aforesaid directions, Writ Petition is disposed of. 6.
