This is the second bail application preferred by the applicant. The first bail application of the applicant was dismissed as withdrawn by this Court, vide order dated 20th April, 2016 passed in Bail Application No.2122 of 2015.

Learned Counsel for the applicant does not press this application on merits and instead prays that the trial of the applicant be expedited. He submits that charge was framed in the said case on 16th

2/3 December, 2015 and that there has been no progress since then. He submitted that the complainant has not been appearing in the said case despite summons.

Learned APP disputes the same and submits that the complainant and other witnesses have been appearing before the trial Court and that infact it is the accused who have been seeking time. 4.

Be that as it may, the case is of the year 2015. A perusal of the Roznama shows that on several dates, the accused have not been produced by the Jail Authorities.

Learned APP assures that the accused will be produced on the dates given by the trial Court. Accordingly, the trial of the applicant is expedited. The learned Judge to dispose of the case, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within 12 months from the date of receipt of this order.

The Commissioner of Police, Pune and Superintendent of Jail,

3/3 Yerwada Jail, Pune to take effective steps to ensure that all the accused in the said case are produced before the learned Judge, on all the dates given by the trial Court.

Learned APP to communicate the aforesaid order to the Commissioner of Police, Pune and Superintendent of Jail, Yerwada Jail, Pune 8.

Application is accordingly disposed of on the aforesaid terms. 9.
