The proceedings before the 2nd respondentCommittee are pending and the petitioner is apprehending that if the proceedings are delayed further, the opportunity for higher education will be lost.

At the time of institution of the petition, the petitioner was a student and studying in 12th standard, Science
in SPVN Junior College at Baramati, District Pune. For the purposes of securing admission to a Degree Course in Medicine, the petitioner was required to forward the Caste Certificate issued to the petitioner for scrutiny and verification of the claim. That has been forwarded and in the meanwhile, the petitioner has cleared the 12th standard examination, appeared for a Common Entrance Test conducted by the 3rd respondent, declared passed and the name of the petitioner is appearing in the merit list.

Now, the petitioner has been allotted a College but to which the petitioner cannot report until the Caste Validity Certificate is issued.

The Caste Validity Certificate is required to be produced before the said College on or before 2-8-2019. In the aforesaid circumstances, we pass the following order:- (a) The petitioner shall appear before the 2nd respondentCommittee on 26-7-2019, at 11:00 a.m..
(b) The Committee shall, after hearing the petitioner, pass appropriate order and in accordance with law, as stated now before us by Ms Salunkhe, learned AGP appearing for respondent Nos.1 & 2, on 26-7-2019 itself.
(c) The order be communicated to the petitioner as well. (d) The writ petition is disposed of by clarifying that we have not expressed any opinion on the rival contentions. (SANDEEP K. SHINDE, J.) (S.C. DHARMADHIKARI, J.)
