The petitioners are aggrieved by the order dated 26th February 2024 passed by the 2nd respondent by which they have been held disqualified from contesting elections for a period of one year. Against this order, the petitioners have preferred Revision Application No.87 of 2024 before the respondent no.3. Since the stay application preferred by the petitioners is yet to be considered, they have approached this Court seeking stay of the order dated 26th February 2024.

Considering the fact that the next date of the proceedings before the respondent no.3 is 25th April 2024, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.3 to consider the stay application preferred by the petitioners on that date and decide the same. The application shall be decided after hearing all concerned parties. The points raised in the writ petition are kept open.
