This petition was preferred in 2019 seeking petitioner's release by the respondent from the detention home. The petitioner was the victim girl rescued in connection with C.R.No.319 of 2017, registered under Section 370(3) read with 34 of IPC and Sections 3, 4,5 and 7 of the PITA Act.

rpa 2/2 9wp1677of2019.doc Learned APP, on instructions, submitted that the custody of the petitioner was hand over to NGO Kshamta Prashikshan Kendra, Thane, for rehabilitation and imparting vocational training to her. The petitioner had disappeared from the said NGO on 24th October, 2019. The NGO has lodged complaint to Wagale Estate Police Station, Thane. Learned APP has placed on record photocopies of the police report and the other documents, which are taken on record and marked as "X", collectively, for identifcation.

In the aforesaid circumstances, nothing survives in this petition and the same stands disposed of.
