The learned counsel for the applicant stated on instructions that the present applicant had already undergone the substantive sentenced imposed on him on his conviction for the offence punishable under section 376(2)(f) and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. For said offences he was directed to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 6 years and pay fine of Rs.8,000/-. Reportedly, the applicant is in custody since about April 2009 till date as such this application has become redundant and accordingly disposed of.
