This petition for habeas corpus is filed by the daughter of the detenu, who was detained under The Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act, 1974.

The learned Counsel for the State brings to our notice the Order dated 08/05/2019 passed by the Government of Maharashtra releasing the detenu on consideration of the Advisory Board in pursuant to report of the Advisory Board in terms of which the Board found not sufficient case for detention of detenu.
