Respondent No.2 is present with her Advocate. Petitioner is present with his Advocate. Parties are jointly requesting for quashing of FIR dated 06.10.2018, which is under Sections 376, 417 and 506 of IPC.

After hearing respective counsel on 17.12.2019, we have asked Petitioner to show his bonafde by depositing amount of Rs.5 lakhs in the Bank account of Respondent No.2. Accordingly, that amount has been deposited. Respondent No.2 has placed on record photocopy of the passbook, which reveals the said deposit.

Photocopy of passbook is taken on record as Exhibit Sneha Chavan 1/2

We have looked into the statement of Respondent No.2 recorded by police at the time of registering FIR. 5.
We do not fnd that anything fruitful will come out of this prosecution. Therefore, we accept joint request. 6.
Respondent No.2 has stated that she is not going to return back the amount of Rs.5 lakhs to the Petitioner. 7.
In view of this statement and the other developments, we make rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (b).
