Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that in pursuance of the order dated 12.04.2017 his client has deposited Rs. 2,00,000/- in the Registry of this Court. In view thereof, the custodial interrogation of the applicant for further investigation of the crime is not necessary. Hence, the following order:

(i) Interim relief granted by order dated 12.04.2017 is hereby confirmed. However, the applicant is directed to attend the Investigating Officer as and when called for between 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon and to join the process of investigation till the submission of the final report/charge-sheet. It is needless to mention that before calling the applicant for investigation, the Investigating Officer shall issue a notice under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure thereby specifying the date and aforestated time therein.
