By this Application, the Applicant seeks temporary bail. The Applicant has been arrested in connection with C.R.No.I-353 of 2015 of the Shrirampur City Police Station, Ahmednagar for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 143, 147, 148, 149, 307, 326, 324, 452, 504, 506, 427 of the Indian Penal Code r/w. 3.

Learned counsel for the Applicant states that the Applicant is the only brother and as such, intends to attend the marriage ceremony of his sister Pooja which is scheduled on 19.04.2017. She has relied on the invitation card which is on page No.8 of the Application. She submits that the Applicant is ready to bear the escort charges.

4.

Learned APP opposes the Bail Application. He submits that the Applicant has 18 antecedents. He submits that there are other family members of the Applicant to take care of the marriage ceremony. He submits that the parents of the Applicant are also there.

5.

Perused the papers.

6.

The marriage invitation card on page No.9 shows that there are several relatives, who are there to take care of the marriage ceremony. It is also informed that the Applicant's parents are also there. The Applicant has been charged with serious offences and there are 18 antecedents against him. Merely because the Applicant's sister is getting married is not the ground to enlarge the Applicant on temporary bail.

7.

Accordingly, the Application stands rejected. (REVATI MOHITE DERE, J.)
