Challenge in this appeal is to the judgment and order dated 06/02/1992 passed by the Reference Court correcting its award dated 26/11/1982 in Land Reference No.300 of 1981 and directing the State to pay Rs.2,89,519.83 to the Respondents-Claimants with interest at 15% per anuum on Rs.1,10,918.70 from 04/02/1992 until the entire compensation amount is paid to the Respondent-Claimant or to deposit with the Court.

Similar challenge was raised by the State in First Appeal No.622 of 1994. Said appeal has been dismissed by this Court (Coram: Dr. Shalini Phansalkar-Joshi vide order dated 09/05/2017. For the 1/2
