This is common order on the above two civil applications, one taken out in the year 1997 and the other in the year 1998. The first civil application is for stay of the order passed by the respondent of payment of contribution by the appellant and the second is for stay of the order of attachment of the property for recovery of the contribution. The ad-interim orders on both civil applications have been running since the date of their filing i.e. since year 1997 and 1998 respectively. For the sole reason that

ssk 2/2 CA 2586/97 & CA 972/98 in FA 454/96 -6/5/16 ad-interim orders are in operation for more than 17 years, the same are required to be confirmed as an interim orders. Further the appeal filed in the year 1998 would be ready for final hearing soon. Hence, the civil applications are allowed. Office is directed to place the appeal for final hearing on the board in due course without fail.
