Petitioner has been convicted on 18th June, 2013 with rigorous imprisonment for 10 years under Section 307 of Indian Penal Code.

He is seeking access to modern technology and gadgets and for that purpose, he is seeking the permission to have mobile with email etc. 3.

According to Learned APP, application is vague and it does not point out relevant provisions which in public interest do not permit

We find that application has been moved in February, 2014 and thus, period of about six years has already expired. In this situation, if grievance still survives, we grant petitioner leave to make proper representation to Superintendent of the jail with necessary data in accordance with rule.

If such representation is made by him within four weeks, concerned Authority shall consider it within next four weeks. With these directions, we disposed of the petition. 6.

Order be communicated to prisoner in jail.
