This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing an application seeking leave to appeal challenging the judgment and order dated 2.1.2016 passed by the J.M.F.C. Dahanu in Regular Criminal Case No.538 of 2000 thereby acquitting the accused of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The delay is of 34 days.

For the reasons assigned in paragraph 5 of the application, the delay of 34 days deserves to be condoned in the interest of justice. Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Application stands disposed of.
