1] By an Order dated 16th April 2018, the applicant was granted interim relief and was directed to attend the Investigating Officer on stipulated dates, to join the process of investigation. 2] The record indicates that, the applicant is being roped in the present crime only because he is husband of Mrs. Sujata Waghchore the owner of car bearing No.MH-04-9196. The applicant was neither driving the said car on the date of incident nor he was occupying it. As noted earlier, the Investigating Agency is seeking custody of the applicant only because he is husband of Mrs. Sujata Waghchore. 1/2

aba.661-2018.doc 3] In view of the above, the custodial interrogation of the applicant for further investigation of the present is not necessary. Interim relief granted by Order dated 16th April 2018 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer is waived.
