By this application, the applicant has sought to condone the delay of 160 days in filing the first appeal against the judgment and award dated 18/07/2017 passed by the MACT, Vasai in MACP No.28/2014. 1/2

In view of the reasons stated in paragraph 8 and 9 of the application, which in my considered view constitute sufficient ground, delay is condoned subject to payment of costs of Rs.10,000/- within a period of three weeks to be paid to Juvenile Justice Fund. 3.
Civil Application No.2960 of 2018 stands disposed of. ORDER IN FIRST APPEAL (ST.) NO. 10574 OF 2018 :- 4.
Appeal be registered subject to removal of office objections and payment of costs. Upon registration of first appeal, with consent, appeal is referred to Lok Adalat. Registry to place the appeal along with CAFST/23431/2019 before Lok Adalat scheduled on 14/12/2019. Ms. Sushma Gor, learned counsel waives service on behalf of respondent no.1.
