The petitioner has filed the present writ petition, seeking quashing of FIR and the charge-sheet filed in pursuance thereof for the offences punishable under Sections 279, 336, 337 and 338 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is an admitted position that charges have been framed in this case on 9th August, 2017. In that view of the matter, we are not inclined to entertain the present writ petition. 3.

It is specifically submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the case is pending since the year 2014 and that it would be in the interest of justice if the directions are issued to the court below for expediting the trial.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed. However, it is directed that hearing of case No.25/PS/2014 pending before the 12th Metropolitan Magistrate Court Bandra be expedited and in any case be completed within a period of six months from today. 5.
