The learned Counsel appearing for the 3rd Respondent has placed on record a copy of order dated 9th May 2016 passed by the State Government by which the State Government has revoked the impugned order of preventive detention by exercising the powers under Section 8(f) of the COFEPOSA Act, 1974. A copy of said order dated 9th May 2016 is taken on record and marked as "A1" for identification.

In view of the said order, nothing survives in the present Petition. Hence, Rule is discharged.
