The petitioner has invoked writ jurisdiction seeking quashing of FIR which has led to registration of the crime no. 53 of 2015 registered with Anti Corruption Bureau, Mumbai for offence punishable u/s. 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act. 2.

This Court has granted liberty to the petitioner to place on record charge-sheet vide order dated 08/08/2016. Till this date the said order is not complied with.

Apart from above, on 02/01/2023 i.e. on the last date none appeared for the petitioner though the matter was called out repeatedly.

In view of above, as the petitioner has not placed on record akn 1/2

2/2 3.WP.1473.2016.doc the charge-sheet and today also none appeared for the petitioner, the petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. 5.

However, this does not preclude the petitioner from moving before the Court for quashing the FIR.
