In terms of the statement made on the earlier occasion, the amount of Rs. 10 Lakhs has been disbursed to the petitioner. In respect of the balance amount of Rs. 8,37,974/-, the learned AGP tenders the letter dated 09/10/2018 addressed to the learned AGP by the Deputy Secretary, Social Justice and Special Assistant Department, Government of Maharashtra. In the said letter, it is stated that the amount of Rs. 8,37,974/- would be disbursed within by Iresh Siddharam Mashal Date:

In view thereof, it is not necessary to keep the above writ petition pending. Same to accordingly stand disposed of. The letter dated 09/10/2018 is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification. Insofar as the amount payable for the period 2014 till date is concerned, we do not express any opinion in that regard at this stage. If the said amount is not forthcoming, the petitioner would be at liberty to seek appropriate recourse, however, we expect the State Government to take a reasonable stand in respect of the said amount also as the petitioner is running an Old Age Home for women.
