Learned APP is directed to take instructions with regard to the status of the proceeding before the trial Court. The petitioner is Doctor by profession who is being prosecuted for an offence under Section 304 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code and under Section 41 of Medical Practioners Act. He is under suspension, hence prayer was made to expedite the trial. It is submitted that three witnesses were examined by the prosecution and the fourth witness of the prosecution witness is under cross-examination since April, 2018.

Learned APP on instructions submitted that the list of witnesses cited before the trial Court mentioned about 20

Sknair 921-apl-443-18.odt witnesses. He submitted that today Investigating Officer is not present in the Court. The application was adjourned on the earlier occasion, so as to enable the learned APP to take instruction with regard to the status of the proceedings before the trial Court. 3.

Considering the aforesaid circumstances and also the fact that the trial has already commenced and P.W.No.4 is under crossexamination, the trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months from today.
