The Petitioner is aggrieved by order dated 23rd March 2017 rejecting the application preferred by the petitioner seeking stay of the order passed by Trial Court in the proceedings under Domestic Violence Act on 21st August 2014. The petitioner preferred an appeal challenging the said order before the Sessions Court. In the said appeal, application for stay of the order passed by the Trial Court was filed, which was rejected as stated hereinabove. 2.

No interference is called for in the order dated 23rd March 2017 passed by Sessions Court refusing stay of the order of Trial Court. However, the appeal preferred by the petitioner is required to be heard expeditiously since the Court has refused to grant interim relief. The said appeal is pending since 2014. 3.

In view of the above I pass following order :

ORDER

(i) The Sessions Court, Baramati is directed to hear and decide the appeal filed by the petitioner viz. Criminal Appeal No.49 of 2014 expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from today;

(ii) The petition is disposed of.
