The petition is filed for quashing of the proceedings of Criminal Misc. Application NO. 184 of 2014 filed by the respondent no.1 before the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Mahad. 2.

The said proceedings are filed under Section 12, 18 and 23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act. The veracity of the allegations made therein cannot be gone into at this stage. Learned Counsel for the petitioner relies upon the mobile pps
