Heard learned Counsel for the Applicant and the learned APP. By the present Application, the applicant is seeking extension of time for acceptance of surety which was initially granted by order dated 12.9.2014 and subsequently extended by order dated 30.1.2015 by this Court. The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that in pursuance of the order dated 30.1.2015, his client furnished the documents of solvent surety on 11.2.2015 within stipulated period. He further submits that though the documents of surety were submitted within stipulated time, the

appp.353-2015 Police Department took substantial time to verify the same and the report of verification came to be submitted before the Trial Court belatedly. He therefore urged before me that the period of submitting solvent surety may be further extended.

I have perused the Application and the documents annexed thereto. After reading the pleadings in the Application, I am satisfied that the period which was granted by this Court by its order dated 30.1.2015 needs to be extended for further period of two weeks. The learned Trial Court is hereby directed to accept the surety after its due verification from the applicant herein within two weeks from the date of production of authenticated copy of this order. It is made clear that the period of two weeks shall start from the date on which an authenticated copy of this order is produced by the applicant before the Sessions Court. Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. (A.S. GADKARI,J.)
