By this Application, Applicants challenge the chapter case proceedings initiated against them by issuance of Notice under Section 107 of Criminal Procedure Code. The said notice was issued on 1st April 2016. The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that period of six months from the date of initiation of proceedings is already over. In the light of the provisions of Section 117, the Chapter case proceedings 1/2

jsn 51-apl-412-2016.doc stands terminated.

Mr Yagnik, the learned APP for the State does not dispute the said provision.

The Writ Petition does not survive for relief claimed in the Petition. Writ Petition is disposed of.
