Heard learned counsel for the applicant as also learned AGP for Respondents - State on Civil Application No. 1403 of 2017 seeking restoration of Writ Petition No. 4660 of 1999, which suffered dismissal for want of prosecution.

2] For the reasons stated in the said civil application, we are satisfied that there was sufficient cause for non-appearance of the counsel when the case was called. In the circumstances, we allow Civil Application No. 1403 of 2017 and ordered restoration of Writ Petition No. 4660 of 1999 to its original number.

3] In view of above, Civil Application No. 1403 of 2017 is disposed of.
