Heard Mr. Hardikar, learned Counsel for petitioners and Ms Nimbalkar, learned AGP for respondents No.16 and 17.

Mr. Hardikar seeks leave to withdraw this Petition on the ground that against the order dated 03.05.2017 passed by the Deputy Director of Land Records, Pune Region, Pune, petitioners have an equally efficacious, alternate remedy of filing revision application before the State Government. He states that within four weeks from today, petitioners will file revision application before the State Government. He further submitted that in the 1/2

WP4615_17.doc meantime, proceedings before the District Superintendent of Land Records, Satara may be stayed as he has condoned the delay of 40 years in filing the appeal. 4.

In view thereof, on the motion made by Mr. Hardikar, Petition is allowed to be withdrawn with liberty to file revision application before the State Government. Revision application shall be filed and served on the other side within four weeks from today. Petitioners shall obtain suitable interim orders from the State Government within two weeks thereafter. For a period of six weeks from today, District Superintendent of Land Records, Satara shall not proceed with the hearing of the appeal. All the parties, including the District Superintendent of Land Records, Satara, to act upon the authenticated copy of this order. Order accordingly. (R. G. KETKAR, J.) Minal Parab 2/2
