1] By a reasoned Order dated 18th April 2017, the applicant was granted interim relief and was directed to attend the Investigating Officer on a stipulated dates. 2] The record reveals that, the applicant did attend the Investigating Officer and joined the process of investigation. It further reveals that, the applicant had disclosed the names of the co-accused who are instrumental in forging and/or procuring the bogus caste certificate. In view thereof, the custodial interrogation of the applicant for further investigation is not necessary.

3] Hence, the interim relief granted by an Order dated 18th April 2017 is hereby confirmed.

4] However, the applicant is directed to attend the Investigating Officer as and when called for between 11.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m and join the process of investigation till submission of final report/chargesheet.

Dond aba.658-2017.sxw It is needless to mention that, before calling the applicant to the concerned police station, the Investigating Officer shall issue notice under Section 160 of Cr. P.C. specifying the date and aforestated time.
