Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

Learned Additional Government Pleader has produced before the Court a letter dated 5th May, 2024 issued by the office of Collector, Solapur, which is taken on record and marked "A" for identification.

As per the said letter dated 5th May, 2024, so far as the printing work for Assembly Elections is concerned, the office of Collector shall re-tender the process and the said printing work will not be procured in terms of the subject tender for Assembly Elections.

In view of the aforesaid, we dispose of the writ petition in terms of the statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader based on the information contained in the letter dated 5th May, 2024.

We further observe and direct that before issuing a fresh tender for printing work for the Assembly Elections, the Collector shall consider the objections raised by the petitioner in this writ petition and take a conscious decision thereon. 6.

We make it clear that this order will not impact in any manner the printing work for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
