(901)APPANo.6012017 The applicant/appellant is seeking withdrawal of the appeal challenging his conviction and resultant sentence. This mode is not permissible as the appeal needs to be taken to its logical end. Ms.Prabhune, the learned Advocate appearing for the applicant submits that as the appellant has undergone substantial part of his sentence and he is languishing in jail right from the year 2014, the appeal be taken up for hearing forthwith. In this view of the matter, the appeal is taken up for hearing.
