None for the appellant. Mrs.Sunanda Dilip Shirsat - wife of the appellant by her letter has informed about death of the appellant Dilip Shirsat occurred on 12th February 2017. She has also annexed photocopy of the Death Certificate issued by the Gram Panchayat Hazarmachi, Taluka Karad. Police Inspector of UmraJ Police vide his letter dated 1st August 2017 also informed that the appellant Dilip Gangaram Shirsat died. The Police Inspector has annexed Death Certificate of the appellant Dilip avk 1/2

1-APPEAL-382-2014.doc Shirsat issued by Gram Panchayat Hazarmachi as well as certificate of Police Patil of the said village. He has also annexed statement of Mrs.Sunanda Dilip Shirsat with his report dated 1st August 2017.

As the appellant died long back on 12th February 2017, and as no application for prosecuting the appeal by the near relatives of the appellant is filed, the appeal stands abated and it be consigned to record.

In view of abatement of the criminal appeal, Criminal Application No.1359 of 2015 does not survive and stand disposed of.
