Applicant is seeking for interim bail on account of Engineering Entrance examination scheduled to be held from 24th May, 2022 to 29th May, 2022. The examination schedule published by National Agency, showing various dates of examination, has also been produced. The applicant's learned Counsel has submitted that though applicant has missed some examination papers, however, he will appear for rest of the tests.

It is contended that the applicant is falsely implicated in the case. Since presently, interim bail is claimed for limited purpose, I need not go into the details of case. Applicant - Accused is 18 years old college going student, studying in 12th Standard in Science stream. He desires to appear for engineering entrance tests. The relevant examination schedules are produced. Applicant is young college going boy. He does not have criminal antecedents. S.R.JOSHI

42-ia-1298.doc Considering the educational prospects, interim bail can be granted for limited purpose by putting him on certain terms. In view of that, following order:

O R D E R

(i) Applicant namely Aryan M. Bedade is released on interim bail in Crime No.1070 of 2021 registered with Kondhawa Police Station, Pune for the offences punishable under Sections 276, 376 (2)(i), 377 of Indian Penal Code and under Sections 4, 8 & 10 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act for the period till 30th May, 2022. (ii) Applicant shall surrender himself without fail on or before 31st May, 2022.

(iii) Applicant shall not enter into the territorial jurisdiction of Kondava Police Station, Pune during his release on interim bail.

(iv) Applicant shall not try to contact informant/ victim or any witness of the case in any manner nor try to pressurize the witness.

(v) The applicant shall provide his proposed residential address and cell number to Investigating Officer within two days from his release on temporary bail.
