1] Applicant is seeking regular bail in C.R. No. 460/2020 registered with Ville Parle Police Station for Offences punishable under Sections 354 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections, 8, 10 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. 2] Applicant was arrested on 24/11/2020. As such, applicant completed his one year of incarceration.

3] The maximum punishment is of 5 years. That being so, 1/2

(i) Applicant be released on bail in C.R. No. 460/2020 registered with Ville Parle Police Station for Offences punishable under Sections 354 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections, 8, 10 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 upon furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(ii) Applicant shall neither influence the witnesses nor tamper with evidence in any manner.

(iii) Applicant shall not contact the victim or her family members.

(iv) Applicant shall stay away from the jurisdiction of concerned police station till the charge is framed. 4] Application stands disposed of.
