By a reasoned Order dated 18.04.2017, the Applicant was granted interim relief.

Heard the learned counsel for the Applicant, the learned APP and the learned counsel for the Intervenor. 3.

Perused the record of investigation.

As noted earlier, it is the allegation against the Applicant that with a view to desist the first informant from lodging complaint with police, he threatened him with severe consequences. 4.

The learned APP on instructions submitted that in the present crime, police have already completed investigation, submitted charge-sheet and supplementary charge-sheet.

After perusing the record, this Court is of the view that for further investigation of the present crime, the custodial interrogation of the Applicant is not necessary. The interim relief granted by Order dated 18.04.2017 is hereby confirmed.
