After this writ petition was filed seeking quashing of the FIR being C. R. No. 21 of 2017 dated 14th January, 2017 registered at Malad Police Station, Mr. Desai informs us that this is a joint petition for quashing of the criminal case. Since the criminal case was registered at the instance of Ms. Simran Sushant Gaurpetitioner no. 7, who is the wife of petitioner no. 1, because of the differences between the family members/in-laws and the daughter-in-law - petitioner no. 7, both, husband and wife have realised that they must resume their matrimonial ties also in the interest of their children. Since both of them are present and particularly petitioner no. 7, on our inquiry, stating that there was no pressure or force in joining the request to quash the criminal case and aware she is of all legal consequences, stated on her own that she has resumed the matrimonial ties, we proceed to allow the writ petition. The subject FIR is quashed. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
