Having heard learned counsel for the parties, on the basis of broad consensus arrived at between them during the course of hearing, we dispose of this petition by directing the appellate authority before whom, respondent Nos. 5 and 6's appeal is pending, to decide the appeal against the order dated 15th January, 2016, passed by the Deputy Director Education Division, Mumbai, as expeditiously as possible but, in any case, not later than one month from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

Till respondent Nos. 5 and 6's appeal is decided, respondent Nos. 5 and 6 will not give effect to the closure notice dated 5th November, 2015 and shall not act upon the notice dated 27th January, 2016 issued under Rule 25A of the Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Rules, 1981.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition stands disposed of.
