1) The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner contends that a preliminary objection has been raised before the respondent No.2 on the point of jurisdiction. We direct the Respondent No.2 to hear the parties on the point of jurisdiction. The parties are free to engage a lawyer. The Maharashtra State Commission for Women without insisting for presence of parties at that stage would hear the matter and pass a brief reasoned order on the preliminary issue of jurisdiction.

2) The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. 3) The learned A.G.P. to communicate this order to the respondent No.2.
