Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner herein was convicted in C.C. No.1016 of 2012 by 63rd Court, Andheri, Mumbai and the petitioner was directed to pay compensation, as against the said order the petitioner has filed Criminal Bail Application No.226 of 2016. At the stage of admission the petitioner is directed to deposit an amount of Rs.5 lakhs by an order dated 29-11-2016. In the interregnum the petitioner had filed Writ Petition No.153 and 156 of 2017 which was allowed to be withdrawn on 12th April 2017 with liberty to take appropriate steps. By this application the petitioner is seeking N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2

923-apl-448-2017 extension of time to deposit Rs.5 lakhs.

Time as prayed for is granted. The petitioner shall deposit an amount of Rs.5 lakhs within six weeks from today in the City Civil and Sessions Court. Upon failure to deposit the amount within six weeks the learned Sessions Judge shall take coercive action in accordance with law.

Rule is made absolute in above terms.
