Heard learned counsel for the applicant.

The applicant herein was convicted in C.C. No.1016 of 2012 by 63rd Court, Andheri, Mumbai and the applicant was directed to pay compensation, as against the said order the applicant has filed Criminal Bail No.226 of 2016. At the stage of admission the applicant is directed to deposit an amount of Rs.5 lakhs by an order dated 29-11-2016. In the interregnum the applicant had filed Writ Petition No.153 and 156 of 2017 which was allowed to be withdrawn on 12th April 2017 with liberty to take appropriate steps. By this application the applicant is seeking extension of time N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2

923--1-apl-449-2017 to deposit Rs.5 lakhs.

Time as prayed for is granted. The applicant shall deposit an amount of Rs.5 lakhs within six weeks from today in the City Civil and Sessions Court. Upon failure to deposit the amount within six weeks the learned Sessions Judge shall take coercive action in accordance with law.

Rule is made absolute in above terms.
