The learned Public Prosecutor states that the impugned enquiry against the Petitioner is closed and seeks to place on record the copy of communication dated 5 July 2022 received from the Respondent No.2.

The main prayer of the Petitioner is to quash and set aside the proceedings relating to the preliminary enquiry. As per the statement made by the learned Public Prosecutor, it is the very preliminary enquiry that has been closed. Therefore, nothing survives in this petition, which is also accepted by the Petitioner. 2/3

As regards the other grievances of the Petitioner, which are not part of the petition, it is always open for the Petitioner to pursue them in the appropriate forum.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
