Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

It is contended by the Petitioner that her husband had died while in service on 11th June, 2013. She filed an application for appointment on compassionate ground and for getting service benefits. It is submitted that so far the Respondent organization has not taken any decision on the application of the Petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground and for releasing the service benefits to her. spb/ 14wp4288-15.doc Without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, we direct the Government to take appropriate decision on both issues raised by the Petitioner within six weeks and communicate its decision to the Petitioner.
