In anticipation of arrest in Crime No. I 62 of 2022 registered with the Wavi Police Station, Sinnar, District - Nashik, the Applicant is seeking pre-arrest protection. 3.
The State has opposed to grant bail to the Applicant.

It is the prosecution case that while the Applicant was working in Post Offce, he has accepted certain amounts
of the investors. However, had not deposited the same with the Postal Department. It is alleged that in all, the Applicant has misappropriated an amount of Rs. 10,400/- with deceitful intent. It is submitted that the Applicant is already facing departmental enquiry as well as he has deposited the entire misappropriated amount for which the letter dated 23.03.2022 has been produced. Nothing is to be recovered at the instance of the Applicant.

Having regard to above circumstances, the Applicant's liberty can be protected by directing him to join the course of investigation.

In view of above, the following order is passed.
O R D E R
(i) The Application is allowed;
(i) In the event of arrest, the Applicant namely Vishal Bhaskar Landage in C. R. No. I 62 of 2022 registered at Wavi Police Station, District - Nashik for the offences punishable under Sections 409 of the Indian Penal Code, be released on interim bail on his furnishing P. R. Bond of
Rs. 25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount; (ii) The Applicant shall attend the concerned police station on every Sunday in between 10.00 a. m. to 12.00 noon to facilitate the investigation till fling of charge-sheet; (iii) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case, as also shall not tamper with the evidence;
(iv) Interim protection shall remain in force till the next date.

The Application is disposed of.
