Learned Counsel for the Petitioners informs the Court that pursuant to the order dated 18 March 2008, Petitioners Nos.1, 3 and 4 have been absorbed in the services. So far as the Petitioner No.2 is concerned, he has not been so far absorbed.

We, therefore, dispose of the Petition by directing the RespondentState to take a decision on the absorption of the Petitioner No.2, if such decision is not already taken. In the event decision is taken against the Petitioner No.2, it will be open for the Petitioner No.2 to challenge the said decision in accordance with law.

Rule to stand discharged.
